Trying to Be Nicer Than God

Many today try to justify actions by calling them “loving,” even when those actions contradict what God said. True love does not try to improve God’s standard—it follows it. A Tremendous Lack of Love

If we know the Truth but refuse to live by it, this reveals a tremendous lack of love on many levels.

We Don’t Love Jesus If We Don’t Obey Jesus

Did Jesus emphasize obedience to His commands, or simply believing in Him and trusting that “faith alone” will be enough? The following words are all from the same discourse to His disciples. If we consider ourselves members of Christ’s body, are we doing what the Head of the body commands? What if your body members refused to do what your head (your brain) told them to do?

  • What if, whenever you wanted to go somewhere, your feet always moved in the opposite direction of where you wanted to go?
