Scientists say there are approximately 7,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 atoms in the average human body (7 octillion, thoughtco.com). These atoms are not haphazardly stuck together as a random mass of chaos. They are orderly arranged to form things that are super complex, such as DNA with intelligent language embedded, cells, tissues, organs (including the brain with 100 trillion neuron connections), and systems such as the nervous, respiratory, endocrine, immune, digestive, urinary, circulatory, integumentary (skin), reproductive, lymphatic, and musculoskeletal systems (verywellhealth.com).
When considering such an enormous number of atoms required for a human body, it’s interesting that with all of man’s intelligence, he cannot even create one atom! The first law of thermodynamics prevents man from creating any matter at all, but even if a scientist could somehow make and assemble one atom per second to try to build a human body, it would take 221,821,352,307,889,558,064 years just to connect all those atoms! (221 quintillion years). Much more time (and knowledge) would be required to arrange each atom in a meaningful way to make the body and all its systems operate correctly. Such is impossible for man to ever accomplish. Knowing this, the fact that God made the human body to “automatically assemble itself” in the womb and to have all major systems functioning within 8 weeks is absolutely amazing! Of course, man is more than just a physical body, because God made man with an everlasting soul, but God’s power to create in this physical realm is unmatched, and the idea that man is the result of random chaos (which allegedly came from absolutely nothing) is completely absurd (Psalm 14:1; 139:14; Rom. 1:19-22).
